Greetings from the Captain…
August 11, 2009
‘Tis that time of the season again, and the crew and I are glad to have ye newcomers on board our yacht club. We hope yer all ready for some adventurous voyages and bloodcurdling battles! Of course we can’t forget those of you who have been here from the beginning, too.
But this time, ye be WARNED! If any of yer mangy rascals pulls another hair-raising stunt same as last year, ye’ll be kicked overboard without a moment’s butts about it.
Francis, I got me eyes on you ‘specially.
All the rest of yer, me boats are ready and floating. Have yer competitive spirits rising and see yer on board!

I just wanted to say hi to all the new ladies coming along to the next yacht club race. Look out for some seriously sick sailing moves from me and my team. Anyone who signs up, remember to go with the blue team (my team). We have a sick yacht – The Blue Pacific – and will probably win by miles.
And to old Puddleduck: you worry too much.
Love,
Francis Featherstorm.
It all sounds so exciting! How does a landlubber with very little in the way of sea legs like me get involved?
I hope there are no Kraken!?
Involvement is easy without sealegs and the like! Just turn up to the Union House South Court 1.30pm Tuesday and you are already a part of the championship. We’ll put yer in a team and put some rainwear on yer and off you’ll fly.
I’m so excited I’ve spent all day twittering about the race! Of course the only colour to wear is Green! Leprechauns and celery and grass, oh my!
I’ve even found an a-DOR-able mascot for us:

Green cat lol!
Francis, I think you’re dreaming.
I’m a pisces, and my horoscope says big things are coming tomorrow, so go green!
